Laški rizling (riesling) is a first-class, moderately heavy wine characterized by a full, balanced taste, a harmonious acidity and elegant bouquet. The riesling variety gives excellent dry and medium-dry wines as well as sine vintage wines of international distinction. This is a appealing yellow-green wine with a pleasant taste and mild aroma.

Renski rizling (riesling) has a more refined bouquet and richer taste than Laški Rizling. Its colour is yellow with a hint of green. For many wine-lovers, Renski Rizling is the king of wines. Grown in selected parts of the Ljutomer-Ormož winegrowing district, this variety gives exquisite wines that offer an unforgettable richness of aromas and tastes. The young Renski Rizling has a fresh, fruity, peach-like aroma. With age, this wine develops new, more complex aromas reminiscent of honey, cinnamon and apricots. A remarkably elegant and full-bodied wine. Renski Rizling is an excellent accompaniment to various meat specialties and selected cheeses.

Sauvignon ( muscat sylvaner) is characterized by a pleasant aroma, rich bouquet and exquisite taste. In favourable years, this variety gives excellent wines with a refreshing acidity and a unique muscat-like bouquet.

Muškat otonel (muscat) is a highly aromatic wine with a distinct, muscat-like bouquet that blends harmoniously with other components. It has a relatively low acidity.

Šipon is an excellent wine with a unique bouquet and pleasant acidity. A light wine with a highly refreshing taste.

Chardonnay is currently the most favoured variety (the French consider it to be the noblest among white varieties). This is a medium-dry wine with a pleasant acidy flavour and a gentle bouquet.

Rumeni muškat (muscat) is one of the oldest muscat varieties. This is a highly aromatic wine with a rich, tangy aroma. Its pronounced acidity blends harmoniously with alcohol and sugar residue to produce a remarkably refreshing taste.

Traminec (traminer) is prized as the best wine of this region. Its most notable features are a special, scented aroma reminiscent of wild roses, and a pleasant, mildly sweet taste. This yellow-gold wine is light in acid and rich in extract, which makes it distinctively harmonious.

Malvazija (malvasia) is an appealing, yellow-gold wine with a distinct bouquet and full taste. This is an old domestic variety. It tastes best with fish, but goes well with other dishes as well.

Tokaj (tokay) is produced from the tokay grape variety using a modified process which preserves tokay's typical colour and bouquet, but softens its aroma and sweetness.

Pinela is a light, refreshing wine with a rich taste, pleasant flavour, and a fruity bouquet. A medium strong wine.

Zelen is a young, light yellow-green wine. It is relatively rich in alcohol, with a distinct bouquet reminiscent of green tea.

Beli pinot (pinot blanc) is a highly appealing wine rich in alcohol, with a mild acidity and subtle bouquet. An extremely elegant wine characterized by a velvety flavour and a gentle, fruity-flowery bouquet.

Zeleni Silvanec (sylvaner) is a light yellow-green wine with a harmious taste and balanced bouquet.

Sivi pinot is a very complex wine, with a strong and harmonized aroma. Young Sivi Pinot has a slightly fruity flavour with no stressed individual hues; a slight bitter aftertaste should be detected in properly vinified young wine. Sivi Pinot is always a vigorous wine: full-bodied, high in alcohol, and moderate in acids.
